John is a 16-year veteran of Capitol Hill and a senior member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce where he brings a free-market approach to the intersection of energy, healthcare and telecommunications policy. He is a staunch pro-life, pro-Second Amendment conservative who fights for lower taxes, less regulation, and greater economic opportunity for all.

Currently, John represents the 15th Congressional District of Illinois and is seeking re-election.
